Crafting Gifts from the Garden
Create finished gifts which include Italian seasoning mixture, lavender sachets, catnip bags, ornaments and tussie mussies. All the materials, including fragrant and unusual herbs and flowers grown by the Saso's in Felton and Santa Cruz, and everything you'll need to craft your gifts will be provided.

Creating Altars for “Day of the Dead”
Create a unique and special “pocket altar” to honor and remember a special loved one. Many cultures practice this tradition and in this workshop, the instructor will cover the customs and ideas for altar making. All materials will be provided; please bring a photograph of your deceased loved one.

Decorating Angels for the Holidays
Using a wonderful assortment of fragrant and colorful herbs and flowers, we will be decorating three different size raffia angels. Make one 18" for doors, kitchen, or wall decor and 6" and 4" angels for gifts and ornaments. Each one is unique and fun to make. The Saso's continue to grow many of the specialty oreganos, lavenders and a wide variety of herbs in Santa Cruz County and are all included in fee.

Decorative Herb Gardening
Learn the many herbs that you can grow for an abundant harvest of colorful and fragrant flowers and foliage. Lots of practical information will be provided as well as herbs to get you started. You will get hands-on experience with plant propagation and be given tips on soil and cultivation. You will love growing herbs! The Saso’s continue to grow a wide variety of herbs in Santa Cruz County and those provided are all included in the fee.

Ornamental Oregano & Lavender Wreath Workshop
This workshop features an unusual variety of ornamental oregano blossoms, including Kent Beauty, Green Goddess and Marshal's Memory. The lavender gives this wreath a unique and fragrant touch. You will love the colors and texture. All materials are included in fee. Oreganos are grown by the Saso's.
